What does your toddler do that’s advanced for his/her age?

at 2.5 mine could watch a movie once and then identify the plot based on the movie’s score weeks later. Not just songs with lyrics but legit instrumentals. “simba’s dad needs help” or “moana’s granny is coming.” She’d also point out instruments by ear (“oboe, hear it?”). I like to sing but neither my DH nor I are musicians by any stretch. It would blow our minds all the time!

She is 4 now and still has a crazy good ear for music and remembers lyrics after hearing something once.

My 20 month old has a nasty throwing arm. This kid can really wing a ball (or a block, or a toy car .....) And he seems to be a lefty too.

Definitely a talent! My nephew got a full ride football scholarship to a great college with an arm like that!
