so they play under MSI's banner- who will they play under in Virginia? If the boys are well established, why don't they have any teams ranked in YSR, got soccer lists two teams in Maryland with Juventus in the title, https://home.gotsoccer.com/rankings/team.aspx?teamid=1266764, https://home.gotsoccer.com/rankings/team.aspx?teamid=905293, but only 1 appears to be associated with Juventus DC metro. 1 mediocre team doesn't really seem like an established program |
Don’t you have something better to do than troll my post. This is a great club. I was sharing my excitement bc they are branching out in VA and we had a great experience in MD on the boys side. Please take your hate somewhere else. |
I’M A NOVA MOM WHO’S EXCITED THEY ARE MOVING IN TO VA. I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THE BOYS PROGRAM IN MD. Good God you’re an ass. |
Loudoun is about exactly the same. Vienna's Eagles/Phoenix is more expensive. |
| Loudon is ECNL for the teams pay that much, Vienna plays those teams in ECNLR/VPSL and play 6 tournaments |
If you have so many question you should probably check out their website or give them a call https://www.juventusdcmetro.com/ |
Where will this new amazing club train? Seems like there are about 6 "new" clubs that will all be competing for field space. |
They will be playing under Juventus. I believe the 04 girls ended up under MSI when they 1st started building the girls side. I don’t know. I’m a MOM. Call JUVENTUS AND ASK THEM YOURSELF. |
They are not a NEW club. Juventus has a charter to expand. They will practice in Vienna, Tyson, Falls Church, McLean area. |
It just upsets me because these organizations make so much money in a dishonest way. They make parents who do not know any better shell out thousands for little billy and Sally to take trips overseas (paid by parents) in order to be “scouted”. It’s not honest. At least with other pay to play clubs the lie is not so blatant. I have a child in a mid tier division one program and we were played one too many times by clubs like the one you’re promoting. I normally just nod my head when I hear other people talking about little billy making the Barcelona ODSL team in leesburg and that he was invited to Barcelona “whatever the camp is called nowadays”. It’s all just smokescreens and bs. I guess if you’re happy to be there then that’s cool. But maybe the way the soccer community is responding signals that this is a bigger issue than you think. |
| I wish i were as excited about OP about ANYTHING. Not just soccer, but any aspect of my life. I mean i don’t think I’m depressed or anything, there’s just literally nothing that I could be that enthusiastic about. Maybe I’ll win the lottery soon and this will change my attitude? I don’t think any new soccer team can get me there though. |
This is not a dishonest club. By any means. The reason we had such a good experience is bc they care about the players emotional well being as much as their level of play on the field. They actually care. And as a result they players love the club. Both my kids play for different local clubs in the area and I can tell you they haven’t gotten an ounce of the support we were given with Juventus. No one is being taken oversees to be scouted. Like any club there are different levels. An Academy level (higher league, more expensive) and a Classic level (NCSL or comparable leagues, less expensive). They have a Juventus Experience in Italy you can CHOOSE to do. And it mostly consists of touring the facilities, the town/area and maybe practicing and playing with one of their local youth teams. I would discourage you from clumping them in with these other programs you’re talking about if you know nothing about the club. |
They are charging as much as clubs that play ECNL. You can call them established, but they look like they have 1 boys team that actually plays in tournaments. They are moving into a very competitive area filled with established clubs. It is doubtful that they will even get enough kids to field the teams they say they will and even more doubtful that those teams will be competing, but by placing a known name (which I’m sure is costing the founders a lot of money to license), they make parents think they are buying into something established |

| THIS. IS. AWESOME. Another post in this thread. Any publicity is good publicity. Well, good luck to them. It's a great way to see if the demand is there. And for the folks on this board who are worried about upward mobility or being looked down upon by the ECNL team at their DC's at existing clubs, maybe this will prove to be a good alternative for those parents and their children. |
