Nursery Furniture Opinions?

I had an old fashioned Jenny Lind crib in white for my youngest daughter that was passed down from a friend and we loved it. My eldest had a Bassett Baby furniture set that did not fare that well. I LOVED the wardrobe that went with it but it did not hold up that well. The crib neither but I loved it at the time because it was a convertible crib and also had a shaker backboard with no slat except the front. I liked that she could not choke in the slats nor did she need a bumper as you could not get a bumper with that type of crib.
