My daughter had a great time at the NPS location. She loved the instructors and went from being terrified to even attempt to ride without her training wheels to riding beautifully by the middle of the week of her half day sessions. The instructors were young but not high schoolers as some have said, probably recent college graduates. I do think it's probably best for 5+ as I could see some 4 year olds not having quite enough independence for the level of staffing at the camp.
This is the bike lobby's camp, right?
We had a great experience - location near Observatory Circle. My kid loved the counselors and the ratio was good. He was very shy and cautious (always had training wheels) but they were off by Day 3. Still needed help but basically riding by the end of the week.

**Disappointing Experience with Pedalheads in Denver**
We enrolled our child in Pedalheads in Denver for the week of August 12, 2024 and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The instructors seemed unmotivated, often using harsh tones with the young children. The camp was also extremely expensive, and despite being outdoors in the intense heat all day, our child and a friend did not learn anything. After witnessing how they were being treated, we couldn't bear to send our child back for the last two days of the week. When a child cries about going to camp, it's clear something is very wrong. I strongly recommend looking for alternatives—**AVID4 Adventure** was a much better experience for us. Please consider them over Pedalheads. |

Do not waste your money, time and energy taking your kids to Pedal heads. I took both my children to Pedal heads - Calgary- Crossfields. They offered to store my daughter's bike and then someone stole the bike. They got her another bicycle and 4 days later, the last day of camp, the bicycle mysteriously appears. The bicycle was damaged and the Regional Manager in Calgary was forcing me to take the damaged bike. She even claimed that perhaps the bicycle was damaged before - her audacity to make such false claim. I will not take a damaged bicycle, that someone apparently used for 4 days. I'm taking them to small claims court. Very disappointed and frustrated by them.

You should go out of business and refund every single penny that you stole from lots of People. I even paid my parents 300$! NOT TO GO. My prison guard just said bike then went on his phone!
We did the Bethesda location last year and our son was riding without training wheels by day 2. We only did the half-day option. We found out about it from a woman on Instagram who posts her different excursions in the DC area with her son. https://www.instagram.com/gallivantdmv/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
