As another PP has said, it is perfectly fine to give formula. Please don't get hung up on breastfeeding if it isn't working for you.

AGREE

I had a slight oversupply in beginning and it helped make a few extra bottles if I needed to be away from baby, now Haakaas manage much of that milk. Breastfeeding on demand in the early days is plenty enough work. Later on having a few days of milk is helpful, but you don’t need a bumper crop stash. I only ever pumped enough for next day fwiw. You’ll figure it out as you go.
