But please be very careful when you choose your location so that you are not worsening inequity by taking shots away from people in areas with low vaccination rates. So sure, go to the mass vax sites but maybe not to pharmacies in lower-income areas where people really need the convenience of those nearby locations, especially if they don’t have cars or have complicated work hours.

Did you read any of these posts? The slots are not being filled.

+1 if anything you are helping the lower income people because you are going driving someplace where the slots are not being filled. Then the lower income dc people will have more options local to them or on a bus route.

Except that this isn’t what everyone is doing. Sure, take a car to Salisbury if you’re eligible in MD. But if you are a well-off DC resident grabbing CVS appointments in Gaithersburg or Langley Park at midnight, you’re being a bad person. Don’t kid yourself. And if you don’t know why I mentioned those two places, you don’t know enough about the MD suburbs to be coming out here taking vaccines. Or you don’t care.

Went to a mass vax site in stafford VA. Was eligible and there was a lot of availability.

Like the lobby before they check ID and give you the sticker photo ID badge? Or do you mean inside the actual waiting room? Also, approximately what time is the end of the day? 5?

Went to Salisbury yesterday. There was no ID requirement. Several DC residents were there.

They are not checking ID's at CVS locations in MD. I am getting my 2nd shot today at a CVS in Southern MD. CVS just wants to distribute their supply as fast as possible. No questions asked.

Apparentlly, DC CVS locations are giving vaccines to MD residents, so in my book, turnabout is fair play.

And by this I mean MD residents who don't meet the DC requirements for getting a vaccine in a CVS. Which are very restrictive.

Same, but in a different VA location. So many available appointments not taken.

I got a vax in MD. Have paid millions in DC tax but that didn’t matter. Had to leave to get a shot.

What kind of documents does a person need to show?
