There are a multitude of different criteria you can use to rank schools though which makes it entirely subjective.

But ranking is totally subjective. We turned down some schools our child got accepted into that this board would rank as top and chose one that those here would consider "lower rank" because it was the right fit for our child and family. Not everyone wants just what this board considers the "best" name/rep. Sometimes your child's happiness ranks higher.

i think this thread is geared towards ranking and not what's best for your kid

you should send your kid to the school that is best for your kid, of course. but that is different than ranking.... and yea, obviously ranking is subjective. aren't you capable of thinking in terms other thann those that directly involve your kid? that is so dc. helicopter parents praying to a GDS/sidwell altar ! haha.

That’s what I took it as. Otherwise commute and a bunch of other stuff come into play
