How is your in person MS/HS handling “catch up” days this week? Kids w/ end of alphabet surnames off

At our school these days are today and tomorrow (so it's the beg of the alphabet). But, these have always been on the schedule since everyone lost their sh-- about all of the F's kids were getting. And it's one of the reasons I didn't send my kid back. Between these, early dismissals, days off, and test prep . . . there isn't a lot left in the school year to warrant a change in the current set up we have. I'm going to send her in to sit there and make up work (she has none), watch other kids make up work, or watch a movie (currently showing that on a screen in her bedroom).

OP here — unlike other schools upthread, our MS doubled down on attendance for catch up days Th and Fr this week:

“Catch Up Days” for the third quarter will be different than quarter 2. All students will stay in class for the full period. Attendance will be taken. Students who do not need to make up work will engage in an independent practice. Our teachers can answer questions about the activities and assignments for the period.
