Since your other boys have 3 syllable names, I'd try to do the same for this baby.

Timothy
Gabriel
Elliot
Raphael
Xavier

If you use Ben and Nick, then I'd use a longer name that has a shorter NN, as well. Also, Benjamin and Nicolas feel old school, so I'd stay old school for the third.

Samuel nn Sam
Lucas nn Luke/Luc
Gabriel is good, but I don't love Gabe
Timothy nn Tim doesn't feel as weighty

Lots of good suggestions on here already, I really like Timothy and George, I'd also add Simon.

I would like Gabriel, but every child I've met named Gabriel acts like a budding sociopath.

this made me laugh because a good friend was engaged to a guy named Gabriel who, indeed, turned out to be an abusive asshole. Fortunately she broke it off.

It can't start with an M otherwise we'd consider Max or Matthew. It also can't be Jacob, Joshua, or Nathan (our siblings boys, who all have really cute names!).

I like Samuel and Theodore, my husband does not either. My husband likes Alexander. Its ok but I am not sure its the 'one'.

Love Henry, but it may be overdone now (ours is older, so less common in his "age bracket")
Stephen
Andrew
James
William

I'm not a huge fan of Alexander (always makes me think of the terrible, horrible, no good very bad day), but like Alex.

What is wrong with that book? Why do parents always want perfectly behaved children in children's books? They can't be bratty or have any negative thoughts? How about you reading a fiction book about a perfect couple with big jobs three kids and no conflicts. Would you be interested in reading that snooze fest? Also, that book is pretty old. there are plenty of good Alexanders out there.

That said, I was thinking Daniel, or what about Casimir (sp?)

That does not go with Ben or Nick and if you can't spell it that is a big problem.

DP. I chuckled because I feel this way about Diego(I’m Latina). It seems that most non-Latinos would choose this name, but every single Diego I’ve met was a bully.
