Disagree, NP, I think you vastly underestimate the number of Americans (and Europeans) who skip breakfast or just have a perfunctory bite of something- the idea that they are all on this regimented "diet" is laughable. I tend to skip breakfast--if I'm hungry of course I'll have some fruit, yogurt or kids' leftovers. But when I am eating "best" I am eat like the first poster. Two good diverse meals, limited snacks except fruit and the occasional homemade dessert. I think it is crazy that the extremely common practice (worldwide) of actually getting "hungry" for your next meal is considered "disordered." |
