1. Have visitors.

2. Don’t have visitors.

Sorry, I Dont live for DCUM so I come here a couple of times a month. Please pardon my life.

My mother lives half a mile away from me. Quarantining doesn’t sound very feasible.

It’s up to you, not DCUM.

My parents live in Pittsburgh and they’ll be coming to visit the baby ASAP. It’s my choice and their choice and that’s what we’re doing.

Sounds like the OP's problem is that her husband does not agree that family can come visit ASAP, or at least that they can't touch or kiss the baby. It's not just up to OP.

OP, have you asked your husband what kind of safety precautions he WOULD be comfortable with? There is almost certainly a happy medium between "no precautions at all" and "no one sees the baby until 2 month vaccines".

Don’t f around, OP.

Really? Are you in the DC area? I’ve seen only a handful of cases similar to this, and they seem to have been well publicized, and not here in DC.
If true, that is tragic...but I certainly hope you aren’t trying to fear-monger. And I say this as someone who had my 2nd baby early on during covid and let no one other than my (also isolated) parents around her for the first 12 weeks.
