Moron: the Code of Virginia makes every single deputy sheriff (civil, bailiff, correctional, or LE) a conservator of the peace. This particular typical cop did indeed graduate from a police academy and holds a cert from Virginia DCJS. He is in fact a cop. And he is in fact a typical cop. And his management knew all about him and endorsed his behavior and continues to do so.

The officer clearly despises the constituents who pay his salary and voted against his ideology. Look at how he threatened a wide array of legally elected officials simply because they pursue policies outside his radical preferences. He’s advocating sedition.

Sorry, but a huge swath of cops have been radicalized by online media and propaganda. We need our own version of de-Baathification. I’d be fine with forcing all gun wielding government officials off social media, subject to immediate firing if they violate.
