Community College for A/B student?

PR? She should be working part time for a small PR shop and of course needs to have great summer jobs. She can volunteer to local organizations to do PR for free. The point is that in college she needs to develop her portfolio and get experience. There’s so many local organizations that need help with PR. Anyone can hustle and get a portfolio.

Our DD was accepted at VA Tech with mostly A/ some Bs (advanced studies LCPS diploma) ED and we did not submit her SAT (was below 1200). The only issue I see with going to CC is your kid will have a harder time making friends at school if she transfers after two years. Most of college relationships are set by their freshman year. I think your DD should go for a 4-year institution. This year is the year.
