We had one child in Lyles Crouch, and our next at MVCS. I much preferred the LCTA community and school. Way less crowded and over burdened! Plus thr language skills were not really what was promised.

Curious about the motivation to move to MVCC.

It's one of the worst performing elementary schools in ACPS (which is saying quite a bit since they are all dismal except for LC) for all students and specifically for economically disadvantaged students.

If you want the dual language program, why not try to get into John Adams? It's a higher performing school than MVCC in reading and math and you'd still get the dual language program.
