Or just say we had some positive covid test within the following teams. Out of concern for everyone we pulled out of the tournament. Safety is our first concern and we are taking the appropriate steps to acknowledge and deal with this serious issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Set the record straight and take the rumors and guessing out of it. |
they dont owe you anything mind your own business. |
|
Did you just insinuate “BRYC owes you nothing”?
Because: 1. They do |
OK... What's your point? trash talk the Club?, trash talk the parents? OR acknowledge that COVID is EVERYWHERE? |
|
Is any club doing this? I haven’t seen it. |
Doing what? Can people be more specific than implying that clubs should announce the testing status of their teams (or is it disclosing a positive test at the club, or a team, or a family member? Or a work colleague? Or a family member of a work colleague?). Teams have let other teams know when players have tested positive shortly after match. I am not sure what else you expect here, especially the ninny who wants to coerce disclosures that may not be necessary or appropriate, despite the fact they did not participate in the tourney? |
again, they dont owe you anything- was your kids team playing them?? |
| Great management at bryc huh. Don't claim yourself to be an elite club when you say things like mind your own business. If something happens that impacts an entire flight of a tournament. The professional thing to do is release a statement that explains the reason why they pulled their teams from competition. Instead they leave it up to word of mouth. Where you have everyone on message boards talking about it, Both people who are asking what exactly happened. As well as club supporters ready to burn anyone who inquires about it at the stake. This just adds to the debacle the is bryc. Maybe eventually they will get their act together, Until then we can all sit back and watch the soap opera that is Bryc. |
I suspect the people on the BRYC teams that forfeited know what happened but the teams that won their games by forfeit should consider themselves lucky because had any of these games been played they would not have have a win on their record. |
| MW apparently is the anonymous “coach” |
| Wishing all the families in the BRYC u13 -u14 boys ECNL all the best as they deal with the COVID 19 outbreak within their teams . |
