Toddler-friendly restaurant in Bethesda

I used to be a big Austin Grill but it seems to have really gone downhill over the last year or two ("further downhill" my friends who know tex-mex would say). These days we go to Guapo's to get our fajitas/'ritas/melted cheese fix-- it has an odd location but it hits the spot.

She also doesn't want seafood

9.30 again.

I can't believe I forgot about Rio Grande! They are always very accomadating and if DS gets antsy we take him to watch the tortilla machine. That's always a good time.

When we were in there with two moms and two toddlers, they couldn't get us out of there fast enough! Not very welcoming, in our experience.

i've been there without kids when they were rushing us.

OP here, just wanted to report on dinner.

Guardados was a great choice, so thanks to the couple of posters who recommended it. They were very accommodating of us even though we were late because of traffic and they almost canceled our reservation.

DA loved the food, so did we, and it was inexpensive so we will probably be going back with some friends later on.

DD ate almost the entire basket of bread .

Thanks again!
