Currently, we have a SB that advocates for virtual until vaccine is out. Therefore, it is safe to say the new supt that an all blue and super scared SB will bring a person who is down with DL until fall 2021 at a minimum?

Dunno. I’m a Loudoun teacher. Just figures we have to now figure out a return to school plan and whether can stay in school plan for the rest of this year with an INTERIM SUPERINTENDENT omg . It’s like we just went up to the King Koopa level in Mario, what’s next.

All Gucci. DL until next school year. Allows me to nurse my incoming baby without issue because I’m at home plus I finish the BS requirements at easy to finally get them teacher license.

Did I mention the $ saved on gas?

Go away troll. “My incoming baby” is not how pregnant women talk. We know you’re the “I save gas” troll, distinguished from the mimosa troll. Begone.

how was the Q1? Excited for Q2? Plot twist: Q3 will be like Q1 and Q2. No mimosas for you until April

We'll send you Braband, some cap relief, and a first round draft pick.

I send an email to someone on the Biden transition team to pick him as the Security of Education.

That would actually fit perfectly with how FCPS handles underperforming principals! Promote them to get rid of them!

Any statement or speculation re why he's leaving? TX district looks to be half the size of LCPS. Seems like a step back.

Money? Cost of Living? Closer to retirement destination? Sick of NOVA parents?

I'm neutral on Williams. He's been adequate. Good luck in TX.

Would you stay in a place twice the size with more neurotic parents if a smaller place offers you more $?

No brainer. Plus, he just cashed that 20k bonus. Feeling educated yet?!

I don’t know how to say this without it sound like a b*tch but a 20k bonus is... not unusual in this area. Like at all. Nor is it particularly high.

Tell that to the people in charge of teaching our youth.

I’m one of them. I know you all think we are broke and uneducated for some reason but we aren’t.

The Clear Creek Texas district paid its previous super $325. Williams is making $305 at LCPS.

You can buy a new construction 4000 sf McMansion for $450K in that part of Texas. Just be sure it's on high ground.

Are you making 6 figures?

I’m on my 5th year. 60k. Is that not being broke in NOVA?

Yes. Not all teachers are making 60k though. Not all teachers are only on one income.

With little free time what other second income can a teacher get? Asking for a teacher.
