Friends with guns

Excellent argument. We all know that dozen of kids die each year from fraudulent filings.

dp I highly doubt you would do this! How long would it take to get your own driving record? Nobody wants to drive your kid that badly to go through the trouble, trust me.

OP, my kids are gonna stay far, far away from you.

I doubt it. I could be your best friend (if you have any friends) and you would never know! Hahaha

dp pp do you lie because you think nobody will come over to your house? I think it is shameful you can't be honest when someone asks you a direct question. What else would you be willing to lie about?

I’ve never been asked. I wouldn’t lie and if you don’t let your kids come over, then it’s your loss.

DH is in law enforcement. We always tell our kids friends parents that there is a firearm in the home when DS is home. DH encourages people to ask and disclose. I would completely understand if another parent didn’t want their child in our home but it hasn’t happened yet.

No, I would not let them play there. They can come here.

When I was a kid I broke into home safes. I wasn't even particularly talented or anything. So I would not trust that kids left alone would be totally safe from a locked up gun.

And I don't trust that people would tell me if they have a gun. I don't really care if people think I'm a local crazy lady or not.

This. My spouse has a work-issued gun (securely stored) and we don’t talk about it. Most people don’t realize she has a gun for her job. If asked, I would tell very close friends whom we trust, but not many more.

Same here. I own a gun and lie to all my friends. “A gun? Why would you need that lmao just call the violence interruptors.” No but seriously we do have a gun and we decided when we got it to never let anyone know about it

This is us. Nobody thinks we're the "type" to own firearms, in spite of knowing (but probably forgetting) mine & spouses' military background. Even friends who own firearms don't know. It's nobody's business.

We have guns and will tell someone if they ask.

Hoe many kids die each year in auto accidents? A lot. So if you own a car, my kid is not coming to your house!

These left-wing nuts are getting worse each year.

My kid is not coming to your house if you smoke cigarettes in front of him or drink alcohol in front of him.

The list goes on...

Of course we own gun. We are from Montana.

Who are these snowflakes in DC we are living around?

I imagine the snowflake parents are the type to scream when they see a spider.

I'm a snowflake that grew up in Queens, NY, around a ton of violence.

I take my (2) teens target shooting nearly every weekend. It a great hobby of our family. Of course we own a gun.
