I wouldn’t care either way if you left cupcakes for just one of my kids.
What is the actual disturbing piece of this to me is that there are actually people who may not vote for Biden. This is not a republican vs Democrat debate. This is fascism, racism, other-ism in every way vs democracy and decency. |
PP, please, please consider voting for Biden. The point isn’t to love him; he is the compromise candidate that millions of people from different political stripes agreed they could get behind as an alternative to the current situation. He won’t be around for more than one term; you can vote for your dream candidate next time. But in this election, please join the rest of us who are putting country over party and trying to steer this country to a better future, one where more voices are heard and we unify rather than divide. Trump has already made clear that he won’t allow that on his watch. |
| I don’t think you should presume to know what other parents are thinking or voting. And I don’t think you should get kids involved in politics. |
You’re completely sick to show a 6 year old that. And Obama/Biden built the cages. |
+1 It’s as bad as the religious nuts forcing all sorts of strange stuff into their kids’ heads. Just let kids be kids. Plenty of time for you to manipulate them when they’re a bit older. |
It’s really not that simple. People have a millions different reasons and some of Biden’s tax plans negatively impact small businesses, if they were to happen. So all though we don’t support Trump, it is difficult to vote for a person who wants to take money away from my family. We are not a large business but a small one. We are worried for the future, either way. |
Seems like an awfully Republican thing OP is planning on doing. I’d she were a true Democrat, cupcakes for the whole block! |
+1 Indoctrination at its finest. I have a 14 yo Democrat and 11 yo Republican (it’s like living with Alex P. Keaton) in the house. They have made up their own minds, and I am 100% fine with that. No “persuasion” necessary in either direction. |
If the candidates were ronald reagan and biden, I could see and respect your point. Trump transcends a debate on tax policies. We are talking a “leader” who encourages an environment of other-ism, violence, anti-democracy. He and the culture he promotes are are dangerous to all Americans. |
| I am a mom of one child. I would never ever do that and just buy for one vs. both or all. Get cheaper cup cakes. I don't want anyone at my house so I'd rather you not do it at all as if you're doing it at my house, how many others are you doing it at? |
I never said I approved of Trump. I was explaining how some are not happy with Biden. It’s not easy to vote for someone who will negatively impact your family, even though the other choice is terrible. Stop acting like this is easy. This election is terrible. |

Back to the real issue - what on earth goes into a $6 cupcake? What makes the decorating so special? Georgetown Cupcakes by comparison are half that.
But if it is a gift from your son to his friends - so I don't think you need to treat the whole family or younger siblings. |
Did you tell your kids which administration started the kids in cages or does that fit your narrative. |
As we talk about -isms remind me, which candidate refuses to rule out court packing? |
Actually I did, I just made sure to show them how Trump made it worse. And I am not even in favor of illegal immigration and opening the borders, etc. I don't think Obama administration lost thousands of parents - correct if I am wrong pls. And yes, it is indoctrination - as I said, when they are adults or oder teens if they change their views, fine by me (well, not really if they decided to become one of those freak religious/cultish people like the Duggars). But then, there is nothing I could do. Now I can do something and I am doing. |
