13 yo wants to watch Borat- would you let him?

I would let her but I don't think she would enjoy it.

Our 13 year old daughter just watched Borat 1 and Borat 2. She loved them both. We've been waiting a long time to show her the first one!

What's gross about a period?

The more I learn about Borat the less I like him as a person or have any desire to watch his movies

My 16 yo son and 15 yo daughter watched it - separately. My daughter said she felt 2nd hand embarrassment for the people Borat encountered. My son did not. My husband and I don’t plan to watch

It was extremely raunchy. More so than I remember the first movie being. So it depends on your son. I actually loved the period joke. The Giuliani bit is super disturbing in a way that the penis jokes are not.

I’m extremely liberal about kids watching shows but I honestly don’t think this is a good movie for a 13 year old in terms of the critical skills and life references needed to understand and absorb all the satire in it. And depending on your son’s developMeny, not sure it’s a great venue for first exposure to some tricky issues. It’s not like watching a news program and discussing.

Nope but mostly because it's terrible. So tired of seeing this crap on the preview screen of my TV.

Sure...by 13 there really isn't anything he doesn't already know or hear about. No need to helicopter or sugar coat the world to a teenager.
