Faint line on early at home test but negative bloodwork at doctor?

| I think a faint line warrants a repeat beta. This could be just wacky coincidence (indent lines then a "true" positive) or it could be very slow rising HCG which probably means a chemical. Nothing wrong with getting more blood work or just waiting it out for another week or so. Fingers crossed for you. |

Going in for a blood test Friday. My period is due Sunday so fairly close. Ive been seeing an RE for the past few months and he wants to know as early as possible. The at home tests I took today and yesterday were visible but not super dark. The ones from last weeek were very faint, possible evap lines... keep you posted! |

When did you ovulate? My period isn't due until Monday and I wouldn't even think I could possibly test until this weekend. |

| Yes this happened to me! If you search you’ll prob find my thread. It did wind up being a miscarriage but was very strange. |

| Agree with the posters. Your period is due Sunday? I mean, why are you exposing yourself to Covid-19 and going to a doctor to get a blood test? That seems a little dumb to me. If you are pregnant or suspect that you are, I would just stay at home and take a blood test two days after your period is due. I also wouldn't waste money on those tests. I can't afford to be testing all the time, lol. |

| Previous poster, meant to say why go to the doctors and unnecessarily expose yourself when you can easily test a couple days after a period at home. |

Op here . Not sure what to make of this update . I’m preparing for the worst but you never know.
Blood test came back positive but extremely low beta. They want me to come back Monday for another blood test. Meanwhile ( yes because I am crazy) I took an at home test and it’s super dark now. This morning I had slight brown spotting but now it’s over ? I’ve posted in the infertility forum before about having several chemical pregnancies, so I am assuming that’s the direction this is going....Anyway that’s why I keep testing all the time. |

| Op here. I’m pregnant albeit very early only a bit over 4 weeks . My beta levels went up at the last test so that was promising. I’m going back for a scan Thursday. Fingers crossed things move in the right direction! |
