Some likely would if given the opportunity. |
No I don’t. I think it is so bizarre that some parents do. If they were in school you would not be listening to their class. Why do it now? Feels like invasion of privacy for the teacher and other classmates who think they are sharing amongst their classmates. |
| For all of you rolling your eyes and saying how bizarre can you list how many square feet per person you have? My family has 250 square feet per person. So while I might not be purposefully listening in, I do hear her classes |
| No, my kids wear headphones for their privacy and their classmates’ privacy. I don’t sit in their classrooms during the day, why would this be any different? We talk about their day at dinner just like we would if this was a normal year. |
Me too. During my breaks, I pop in and say hi. He's in HS so I don't need to help him. I teach kindergarten so we have parents sit right next to their kids the entire time but most do not. |
Same here. I would be interested in listening in on certain classes but don't want to antagonize DC. Monitor grades, though. |
For many tweens and teens with ADHD and other special needs, school won't happen this year unless they do. Be glad you have no experience with this. |
| Never! And besides, my kid would shoo me away if I even tried! |
Good point. Small spaces must make it very challenging. Headphones?! We have a family of 4 and 500sq ft each. |
Exactly! |
