I got mail....mostly the neighbors - so my son, dog and I went on a mail delivery.
I saw the UPS truck, but is the toy I ordered on it? The one I ordered last week hoping it would get here before the first storm? No, no, no. |
| No mail here, Silver Spring 20910. We're plowed and cars drive by all the time. |
No mail since Thursday. 20011. I'm kind of hoping it holds off until my husband goes back to work since I went on a bit of an internet shopping spree in the past few days

| No mail, no UPS. On a main, well-paved road in NWDC. I was more sympathetic before I read that nearby places that were far less clear has gotten deliveries. The newspaper made it every day except last Saturday. Oh well. |
I don't understand how UPS works. I had four orders pending delivery as of last week. One was an order from diapers.com, half of which was supposedly coming Friday, (and was delivered on time). The other half was supposed to be delivered Saturday but wasn't (okay, I have no problem with that). but now the package is at the UPS warehouse in Hagerstown and has not been redelivered since Saturday and when I track it, it says the "conditions beyond our control." Likewise, I was supposed to have something delivered yesterday, from drugstore.com and that package did not show up. The Saturday diapers.com order also STILL has not showed up, but in the meantime, a subsequent order from diapers.com HAS showed up. Same companies, all using UPS, vastly different deliveries. I think UPS has an organizational problem in addition to the snow problem. |
| DD's new snow boots are sitting on a UPS truck that hasn't managed to get from Laurel to here. |
| USPS is suspended for today, Wednesday. |
| UPS come on Tuesday looked like he had some new boots on for the snow. |
| USPS came by yesterday to deliver a perishable package, but not our regular mail. Got the impression they were doing that (and maybe overnight stuff too?) but not the rest of it. (DC 20007) |
| GRRR - UPS called last tonight to check on my address and as we were talking she figured out that they got the address numbers transposed. GRRR - I SAW the UPS truck on our street yesterday and just assumed our package wasn't on it. Now who knows how long it will take to get DS' snow boots. |

Sorry to hear about your boots.
Ours came last night about 6:30PM. We were very relieved. |
