Trying to support friend but it’s hard - cheating

You clearly say we are not friends if you are in an affair. If you break up and get therapy we can be friends.

Why are you friends? You need therapy to figure that out and why you can’t create healthy boundaries.

Great post. She's a co-cheater actively destroying a family and the poor kids lives. Who knows what the wife will do if she finds out. A few years ago a wife killed the AP and then herself. I agree, she needs to get therapy to see why she would do such a thing. Liars and cheaters will cross others as well OP.

Wow. Morality police.

Agree with the poster that the friend needs counseling and she should put up clear boundaries in place.
It’s not about being a moral police but rather about a good friend who is not comfortable with friends’ actions.

Agreed. Very odd.

I’m sure the married guy would just live to know his name is all over the friend group too. Talk about discretion. That’s what he deserves. Dirt ball

OP you and some of your friends should contact the wife via social media. I would.

Right. This person who is single and in her early 30's with no kids may not "get it." I mean, yeah, she may that she knows what she is doing is wrong, but until you've been "cheated on" in this situation, you may not truly get it.

This is a thought.

NO. Choose your friends wisely is something you teach kids starting in K, where did you miss that lesson.

Why do you think you don't deserve a group of friends that are not a mess.

You must be a cheater. Listen, get therapy. People who are mentally healthy don't cheat, it's not about morality.

She may not "get it" from the wife's perspective. But worse "she does not get it" from a single 30-someting without kids. She is desperate, she has decided that 30 is "too late" so she needs to "lower" her standards and get with a married man and try that.

She is probably single still because she has issues she never fixed and now she is still acting out due to basically sucking at life.

She needs therapy first, get single, create a good life, find somebody (or not)... once you love yourself you don't need a dude to fix your life.

Is this what the friend is hoping for? Big blow up, destroy the marriage, then she swoops in? It would explain why she sends texts about it to your entire friend group. If the husband knew how many other people knew, he might take a look inward.

It is not your life. Stay out of it. If it bothers your morally tell your friend and then stay away.

Don't judge her, he's the one lying to someone else, he's the one married, he's the one with the lack of morals.

Yes! Blame women and their sexuality again. Cause that’s never happened before.

Agree. I place more blame on him because he’s cheating and lying to her. She may hav poor judgment but she is the single one.
