Which colleges are totally open for business and operating normally?

Open for business as usual is probably not happening but certainly many colleges determine to make it work. Catholic schools seem to be able to do it. Christendom has kids in campus (front royal) and a small university in Florida also moved kids in. I think they will be quick to ditch the masks and move through the levels of distancing (can’t leave for visiting Beyond your wing, then your floor, etc).

The flagship university is among the 26 colleges and universities that are part of USG. Many are already on campus and others are preparing to welcome students in the coming days. While each school has its own leadership, the USG creates overall policies, including those around reopening and COVID-19.

AJC has an article about coronavirus cases at Georgia Universities: already showing exponential growth:

I know that Georgetown University is working and very soon they will be taking the exam and writing Georgetown Essay. There are no changes in the reception program. My daughter spent two months preparing for the exam.

An acquaintance of mine also enters this university. I wish you all the best in your exams.

Georgetown university is not open as usual. All classes are virtual and most students were told to stay home.

IMHO, if a university is operating “normally” in these crazy times, they’re reckless and not deserving of your tuition dollars

Simply put: none.

I thought that Tulane opened with testing and safety measures in place. I haven't heard about any problems. Anyone know?

UNiversity of Alabama opened this week with re-entry testing. You can watch UA build a curve in real time. They gave a Covid18 dashboard. The University of Alabama had 310 positive students when they did re-entry testing before opening this week. Those students were excluded from campus until they are better and over the isolation period. This week, UA had an additional 531 positive tests among students, faculty and staff. https://uasystem.edu/covid-19-dashboard/

Same with my DD’s friends small catholic college in NY state. She did not have to get tested at all!

My DS goes to a state university in PA. Classes started on August 17. They aren’t operating as normal, but no testing was required for students before classes started.

I went to Wheaton college in Illinois. (Religious school but not bat-shit crazy like liberty). They’re open with masks and so far, so good but they’re a dry campus in a basically dry town. There are very few places to go off campus at all besides downtown Chicago but that’s a 50 minute commuter train ride away. this should aerve them well this year.

Notre Dame just had to move classes online for two weeks because of a COVID outbreak.

PP here.
School's dashboard update today shows 3 cases (two students on campus, 1 off campus, no staff) since August 1.
