I believe they are waiting for sign off from DC agency/ agencies. Probably hard to predict when that will occur. |
So the center is not open yet ? How long does these agencies take does anyone know? What is the Director telling parent's that are waiting ? |
What do you mean it's open ? I was told that they were waiting for something from the city. |
They are opening a new center for infants, in addition to the current program. |
Does anyone have any feedback on the infant program? |
Interested in responses to the last question. Thanks. |
Can any current parents comment on their experience at SAECC? Thinking of sending DD there. How is the new campus? Any feedback on teachers? Biggest positives and negatives? How long did it take to get off the waitlist? DD is 2. TIA. |
i see many of these post about admission is dated. Any updated information on the length of time anyone had to wait to hear/receive admission? we just got added to the waitlist |
We pulled our child from this program after 2 months. The infant room was a total nightmare. I would not recommend the program to anyone. |
Our daughter has been there for almost 2 years (since she was 3 months old) and we’ve really enjoyed it. All of the lead teachers in each of the 3 classes we’ve experienced have been wonderful and we love that it seems like everyone kid (or adult) at the school knows our daughter. We got lucky because we joined right around when the current location opened but the waitlist depends on the classroom— I’d keep in touch with Ruby when your proposed start date approaches. We were supposedly a high number on the list until 6-8 weeks before when we were offered a spot. |
This is the PP. forgot to say that the new campus is great. We love the location and while drop off time can be hectic, it is generally easy to find a parking spot. Biggest negatives would be that my daughter was sick like 3/4 of her first winter there, but that seems to be the case with all daycares. Also, transitions don’t always happen when the handbook says they will because of space issues— but that’s been good for us since our daughter likes her current class. |
