Ummmm I bought a gun in VA and most certainly had to go through a background check.

DC could at least pass it’s own laws banning guns though. It can’t do that if it’s not a state.

And, why is the gun violence rate in VA lower than other areas? You would think that if guns are so easy to come by, the rate would be high in VA too.
