Have you gone to a protest? Do you plan to?

No, because of the pandemic, because I have to work, and because I have kids. I wish I could, though. I donated to some civil rights organizations and plan to donate to and vote for politicians who support civil rights and police reform, and to do what I can to register/encourage others to vote. I worry a lot about the protesters, because even though they are outside and most are wearing masks, it is just a lot of people crowded together for a long time, chanting and singing, and I think there will be COVID spread. We'll likely see the increase in two or three weeks. I understand why people are doing it, for sure -- for many people, this is just as much a matter of life and death as the pandemic is -- and I appreciate that most are trying to take precautions, but the virus doesn't really care whether your motivations are good or not.

I’ve been to many protests in my life but I’m not joining these. Covid + the police have lost the thread and are attacking journalists.

No. I have not gone to a protest and do not intend to because of the pandemic.

I am with the protestors in spirit, donations and through online volunteering.
