Nope. He said local leaders have flexibility. LET THE SHT GO DOWN. Let’s watch to see if Elrich messes with the sacred MoCo soccer parents, our pools, and our camps. Ball is in his court now. |

He said all local leaders have the option to enact these new rules. He also made sure to point out that the ENTIRE state is moving “dramatically” in the right direction. It was a clear dig at Elrich. |

He also said that if these metrics continue into next week, we can officially go into phase 2, which will mean a lifting of the “safer at home” order and allowing more non-essential businesses to open.
My prediction is that, since the state isn’t paying essential childcare centers past June 7th, that’s when centers will be able to accept anyone again. |

He can’t hold out much longer, despite data that supports a more cautious opening, because it will be too much pressure. Not his fault. |
