This is what I did, bought in a great area of Fairfax. Now I’m set for life if I need to be.

If you are someone who gets spooked at night, just know this: SFHs shift and move at night when the wind blows. Coming from apartments and an interior unit townhouse, it was unsettling for me at first. And older homes have noises. Doors and floors creak, drafts cause things to move around. You get used to it.
