what did you get? I was looking at pools this size yesterday evening.

The Intex brand. But, Amazon is sold out again. We got lucky that we looked at the right time yesterday once we got word of the camps and refunds.

what word, did I miss something?

All Fairfax County camps closed for the summer: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/coronavirus

No, you do not need to add chlorine for a set up of only 2-3 days.

You guys do realize that you're never going to keep water in for more than a day, right? Half the fun of a backyard inflatable pool is running across the grass and jumping into it. In about 10 seconds the water is muddy and grassy. It's fun for a few hours, then you drain and deflate it, and do it again the next day.

My kids are younger (6and 7) and ours is set up on our deck, so there’s no space for what you’re describing and it wouldn’t be safe for them anyway. We’ll let them put their toddler slide in the pool so they can slide in and splash but that’s about it.

NP. Not happening, sorry. All camps will be cancelled sooner or later. Just like all schools were. I actually respect Fairfax County / Virginia for making the announcement up front and well in advance so parents can make alternative plans.

We got an intex 10x30 pool on eBay for $200, then because we wasn’t careful when trying to move the pool it got tiny tear 2 weeks after. Now we try to repair it with patch and failed couple of times. It’s such a pain. We did have an tarp underneath, but just be extra careful and don’t make mistake like we did.

I got a summer wave one at Wish.com 10'x30" - framed, not inflatable. It comes with a pump but I upgraded to a more powerful one. I also treat it with chlorine and some other stuff that I forgot the name.

We have used it non stop for the past 2 weeks, everyday the kids go and spend at least 1 hours, usually more.

I have a patio downstairs and it is where we set it up - leveled and perfect.

Ours is just like this one, but I payed $279.00 for it.
