It's my sister's name and the name of a good high school friend. They're both really smart and accomplished women so the name has great associations for me.
Do it. |

I like how it isn't trendy, but never fell totally out of use, either. So, it doesn't have the old lady feel of a Nora or Cora (and I like those!). I slightly prefer Jackie, but I think if her personality or looks were more like a Jacqueline, you'd just stick with that.

Beautiful and timeless. It's a bit hard to spell for small kids, but adults shouldn't have an issue. And Jackie is easy to spell.
Just make sure you're okay with the nickname Jackie. |
| I like it. I’ve never met one I didn’t like. |
| All the positive responses on this board would rule the name out for me but my taste is different. My oldest daughter is Wilhemina Josée Idir. |
I do like Glencora. Trollope's names are the best. |
| I like it but I think it would be contrived in a family with no French connection. |
| I love the name! |
| Have a co-worker named this who goes by Jacquie and it is a serious pain to type. But the name is nice. |

Lovely name- I would stick to Jacqueline rather than Jackie or Jax. |
| It’s not my style, I wouldn’t use it for my kids. That being said, it’s in itself a beautiful name and you should go for it if you love it. |
| Love it! |
| It’s lovely. Classic yet somehow not too trendy. |
