Anyone familiar with the Raleigh area?

This is a major national chain.

Raleigh is so backwards for a state capital.

It has grown by leaps and bounds yet always stays the same.

Raleigh has fantastic parks for kids when I moved to the DMV I so missed that. And swim clubs however they are very racist and antisemitic.

When i was pregnant with my first child they kept touching me. UGH. And blessing me. I hated it.

Schools are not as good as Chapel Hill or Charlotte.

We live in Raleigh.
Our neighborhood is very diverse: we have people from all over the country and tons of different races and backgrounds.

We have great parks, things to do for families, and my kids love their school. The lifestyle is 200 times better than DC. There’s no battle for everything. School is just school and there are many options so everyone can find what they want.

I lived in DC for 40 years, born and raised. We left last year after getting tired of the grind. Raleigh is a great place and we love it. Is it DC, NY or Philly? Nope. But it doesn’t claim to be. It’s a southern city and a place where everhibg can find their way.

If we went out with a similarly mixed race couple they always put the same race people on one bill. Got out shortly after Trump was elected.

This happens to my husband and me in the dc area.

Ok no. This sounds like a spouse to partner. Mrs to Ms thing. It actually sounds like people are trying not to use typical gendered language. I’ve encountered this too but in large cities.
