If you run out, just ask the neighbors

This plus increased abuse of other kinds. Turning to other drugs. Looting and break-ins. All this would fill the ERs with stupid people and the people they harmed, and would keep police and other first responders busy with stupid stuff.

Think.

I, too, haven't had communion in more than a month. I want to go to church. I am staying home because that is the highest form of worship right now; to put others before myself!

I hope you're attedning services on line. Otherwise, it's sinful.

Some religious groups think they are special and exempt and can cause plagues to spread. Its not a good look. Looking at you evangelical megachurches and super conservative Jews.

Every single Orthodox rabbi that I am aware of has ruled that minyanim are completely forbidden right now. The Lakewood Va'ad issued a ruling over Pesach in very strong terms. Every village has its idiot, but there is no community sanction for this kind of embarrassing chutzpah. Quite the opposite.

Do you also love "Reps," because they are doing the exact same thing? IN and MD Republican governors, doing the exact. same. thing. Liquor stores open, churches and all places of worship closed. Hogan even went after the BBQ folks!

But you gotta love "Dems," right?

Many liquor stores also sell food items and may be the only store in a neighborhood.

Also, alcoholics can't just dry up on a whim... then you have angry people stuck at home, taking it out on their families.

But ANY religious organization can live stream their service on Facebook.

We aren't allows in our locale becasue having a priest in the church building violates the stay at home order. So let's not pretend everyone is able to worship.

No not a strip mall.. it is a precise location WITHIN the residential communities all over MoCo…
do you know what else comes with the booze? Crime.

Prohibition did not work in this country. It increased illegal activity. It increased mob activity. It made the Kennedys wealthy beyond belief.

meh.. considering that God send the plague, the suffering happened first so sin should be cancelled by prior suffering.

Excuse me but which exactly command is that you need to go to the church every Sunday?
You are NOT confusing the commandment of celebrating the holiday right? Because it is an open ended suggestion,
it does NOT specify that you need to leave the house as such to go and worship elsewhere or even online.

I am the person you replied to. While I am, indeed, attending services online, it would not be "sinful" for me not to. God does not live in a building. The way to communicate with him is not through a priest, a pastor, a pope, a deacon, a nun, or any other human conduit.
