Cherry Blossoms while social distancing?

I'd love to be able to get out of the car and get my kid some fresh air, but only if we can keep a safe distance from others.

We all do. It’s not going to happen with a big crowd draw like blossoms. Find a pretty neighborhood to walk through. Everything is blooming.

Near the National Shrine there are a lot of cherry blossoms.

The rule is 6 feet away! If you so that you’re okay. And I do think that getting outside for a short period of time is a need. It’s not a trip to the movies or a party.

I guess you don't care about medical professionals who are risking their lives to care for people who figured, hey if I stay "6 feet" away from all of the other people (who also have no common sense) at a crowded tourist attraction, i'm good! You're selfish and delusional. Do you even know what sacrifice entails? STAY HOME.

Drove through the Kenwood neighborhood in Bethesda this morning and it was very beautiful. Highly recommend.

We (the family) went and it was gorgeous. We are not insane panic-ers. If you are, don't leave your house.

No, you certainly aren't. You are entitled, selfish a**holes.

We went at 8am this morning and parked by the Washington Monument. We took a 15 min walk. Did not walk to the tidal basin. The few people who were out were all walking towards that direction. We decided to get some fresh air and walk back to the car.

Yes, we too are selfish. And having great family time being out and about in the beauty of Spring nature. Cherry blossoms, bike riding, walking the dog, Rock Creek Park trails. Today has been gorgeous. One more family walk around the neighborhood with the dog tonight.

You PP above -- just stay in and and drive each other crazy, y'hear?

Under normal conditions, the streets can get packed, but I think this year you can find times to wander through. You can park on aisle street and walk around.

It's a very rich neighborhood, and remember it is a neighborhood! So just be respectful of the people who live there. I would not be surprised if there were more police there than usual.

If you want to be respectful don't go. It's a tree FFS

I believe those unlucky individuals are currently rooming with the people who got Covid-19 from opening an Amazon delivery improperly.

You are going to get this virus or be exposed to this virus at some point this year whether you live in a plastic bubble today and Lysol your Amazon deliveries or not. At some point, you are going to have to emerge from your cave....
