This is hilarious- this is my original post and boy have things changed since I wrote this. So just for fun, here’s a little update of what has happened in the past 3 years:

* 6 different placements
* at least 4 CIEP meetings (maybe 5?)
* Mediation
* Revoking Special Ed services
* Getting a new, initial IEP

But most important, my child is thriving and happy back in their home school with a minimal IEP. I am now almost an expert on CIEP and ED services within MCPS. Ha!

So things have changes and maturity has definitely helped my child. Keep fighting the good fight- it’s not an easy path, but sometimes it really does work out!
