I’m not. You can believe whatever crap you went on your own time. In government spaces though you should shut your pie hole. |

Please keep your religion to yourself. Thanks! |
Exactly. It has no place in government work. |
No, it’s not. Abortion and gay marriage are political issues. They’re not religious beliefs per se. If the minister said that salvation was only through Jesus Christ and the Bible, that would be forcing religious beliefs. |
They are only political issues because religious people try to push their beliefs on others. Remove religion and those “political issues” are nonexistent. |
I'd disagree on that point. Sure for some it may have a religious basis, but I would say it comes from fundamentally different moral foundations per Haidt. Conservatives have lower thresholds for "disgust", higher desire for "sanctity", whereas liberals have higher desires for fairness and care. If you view those two issues in that light, rather than religion, you would still have the same political issues. |
| Religion has no place in government. Separation of church and state. “God” is a fairly generic terms that is common to three major religions so somehwat innocuous when appearing on the dollar and in the pledge. Also, perhaps when used in those instances what it really means is that in our country, the dollar is God. |
