I'd probably save it and get a sweet wedding shower gift or baby gift for a friend. However, a nice set of champagne flutes is always useful to have on hand.
https://www.tiffany.com/accessories/barware/diamond-point-champagne-flute-set-60561966/ The jewelry is overpriced and trendy. |
The cheap Tiffany jewelry maybe. There is some gorgeous stuff in there at higher price points. |
They are very customer friendly- just go in and let the counter person know you have a gift card for X$ and they will show you some things in that price line (or let them know you can spend up to X$ if you want to spend some additional $). Don't listen to the nay sayers- they have plenty of nice classic things. I got my teen daughter the open heart necklace and it's very nice. |
Everyone had one in the mid-2000s and it is too recognizable and widespread from that era. That said, if you like it, who cares? Get it and wear it. |
Really? The color is nice and you could turn the logo to the back. No biggie and not sure why this is so much worse than anything else on the list. |
It has no personality whatsoever. |
Get the silver graduated bead necklace or bracelet. Or a handbag. |
$100 for a flower pot? |
+1 I too like the choices you named, and after all, your jewelry should make YOU happy and reflect YOUR personality. Karen can make her own necklace choices. |
+1 THAT is what's Tacky!!! |
+1 To me it's announcing "I spend extra money on things because they are from pricey stores" I hate this kind of stuff myself. |
Yes, PP it’s recognizable because it’s an iconic piece by Elsa Peretti, an Italian jewelry designer. Tiffany has gorgeous high end pieces and plenty of beautiful entry level silver pieces - some are identifiable as “Tiffany” and others less so. Go to the store City Center -they have a great selection. FWIW I have a silver bean (it was a graduation gift from college) and I still enjoy wearing it. I love the gold bean and some day may treat myself. Don’t be put off by all the nay sayers and happy shopping! |
