NP. OP, don’t let all these early birds shame you!!! I get up at 8:45 am pretty frequently! I’m a well paid lawyer! I’m just a night owl. My life is going well, folks.

Ha, thanks. OP here and I’m also a lawyer. I usually beat my manager to the office by a couple of hours. And my DH gets up even later and is some senior exec. We frequently work until 8pm or after we get home. I’m just trying to get back to doing the early morning workouts but I struggle in the winter.

OP, if you have that kind of workplace flexibility, get up at 7:30 and workout. That's not an early morning workout and it shouldn't be unreasonable, even for someone who works until 8pm at night. You're not going to get much sympathy from those of us with less workplace flexibility and who have kids to get to school/drop at daycare/etc. Have some awareness that you're posting to a website marketed towards parents.

?? No one was looking for sympathy. It was simply a question: what time do you go to bed if you workout early in the morning.

10:30-11pm. Up at 5:30am weekdays to work out, or just to be up and enjoy a cup of coffee.

I would disagree about the sympathy, since the only response was to someone defending the OP from the "mean" early birds.

But whatever; I go to bed between 9 and 9:30pm, and wake up at 5:15 or 5:30am, depending on what workout I'm doing that day.

Right, so maybe someone else was being sympathetic. But the OP was clearly was not a request for sympathy.
