Sixth grade English lit text book?

That's not how it works. Taxes are for the benefit of the entire society.

I don't get extras elsewhere because I don't own a car, so I don't drive on the roads. I don't use Medicare or Medicaid, but I still pay for them. And you still benefit from an educated workforce, whether you take advantage of public education for your child or not.
