So, yes, Hallmark is a total escape and I was astounded at how very white it is. I did think it was crazy that they didn't have a single Jewish movie about Hanukah or even one about everyone celebrating whatever religious holiday they happen to celebrate.

The movies are like the Stepford wives. All of the women look the same. I got addicted just as I did to the Home Shopping Network when I was in law school. The shows lull you into thinking about a relaxing "good old days" environment (even though "the good old days" were not good at all for women or blacks or Jewish people, etc.

Hallmark must know what they're doing and I can see where it could be likened to Nazi propaganda. Scary. The Christmas movies ended last night ... so that's my Hallmark fill for the season.

Didn't a bunch of conservatives get up in arms recently about Hallmark pushing the gay agenda? (aka there was a gay character in a movie or something) Or was that a different channel?

Some evangelicals got upset at same-sex ads being shown on Hallmark and got Hallmark to pull them, and it caused a controversy.

HA...not a troll post at all. You'd have to know me to know how much I love movies. I saw 294 movies in the theater in 2019 and 280 in 2018. And, I work full-time. You'd have to watch the Hallmark movies to know what I'm talking abut here...but instead you were quick with the old .."must be a troll post".
