S/o does Santa bring all or some of the presents?

Stockings come from Santa. Gifts under the tree generally come from friends/relatives. Practical things like underwear or toothbrushes come from Rudolf or one of the other reindeer (running joke in our family).

We are a small family and everyone buys a gift for everyone else to put under the tree. Sometime around Middle School, kids start buying a gift for each person for their stocking too. Adults and children get stockings.

Santa does deliver some. Ours are usually addressed from a historical figure or character that is related to the gift. It doubles as a history lesson and is great fun. Easy example: a guitar is from Elvis, painting supplies are from an artist, etc.
