If you are a pinterest mom - why?

Anonymous
Because if I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it to the best of my ability. I hate half-assing. It's like when my mother says "Can you make XYZ for Christmas dinner or is that too much work?" naming a dish that you would only ever eat at Christmas BECAUSE it takes work. I hate hate HATE that notion of "I just want to be easy, even if it results in lesser." I'm not just trying to get by, survive to the next thing.

I like to have home parties, so I go overboard decorating and with the food so that people don't think I'm cheap for not doing a bounce party.

omg yes. Almost always completely useless. I have it blocked as a search result on home computer which helps somewhat.

I would and do instagram worthy parties whether posting or not. I find it immensely gratifying and love to create a bit of beauty in my day. In my mind its as easy to make something beautiful, charming, fun as it is to just throw whatever needed on the table.
