Is DC now a major hot spot for soccer development?

A lot of men's college teams should be able to beat USWNT easily.

That's 12% of the team from one metro area.

No, just Pipeline

FCV 05 would beat USWNT.

U15 boys team from FC Dallas beat the USWNT.

No they didn’t.

Jill Ellis
Mia Hamm
Ali Krieger

Mia Hamm played what 1 year in this area? She was literally just passing through.

+1. Thats like saying ABGC developed Bill Hamid

Hasn't Bill Hamid lived here his whole life?

The point may be about how long he played at ABGC, not how long he lived in the area.

So who did develop Bill Hamid?

His father (Sully) and others. PAC is Sully's club. Great coaches and families. They develop a lot of players that don't initially get placed on top teams at Arlington, McLean, etc.

Define hot bed, I.e. what makes an area a “hot bed.” Also, TX, FL, and CA are hot beds for all sports so don’t cite those as examples either as that is too easy. Try to actually define what you’re denying.

You are actually trying to defend the idea that the DC area is a “hot spot” for women’s soccer in 2019???
