As I said, his wife should get a job. The new Pupatela in South Arlington is hiring and is close to their home |
Plenty of non wealthy people have been on the board and not gone bankrupt. If you can’t manage on the salary offered, you shouldn’t run for the job. |
Because that is something a financially responsible person would do. Someone who has over $80,000 in credit card and personal loans is not financially responsible. |
And is incredibly vulnerable to being bribed... |

Of course it is judgmental. People elected him and should judge his performance. Nasty? Only if you think democracy is nasty. |
Madame Feldman stop posting. |
This thread is far into stupid. |
You’re very naive if you think bribery and kickbacks are not a concern when a local official is having money problems. Hopefully Dorsey is better than that. |
| I’m laughing at the implicit notion that Audrey Clement or Arron O’Dell would have been a better option than Dorsey, even with the bankruptcy. |
Um, no one is implying that. We're explicitly expressing our concern over his personal financial situation and handling of the donation. All of this has been documented by the Washington Post. |
IDK about this. The jury is still out in Moco on Elrich. Maybe he can work out a more equitable school plan. |
So if he’d announced his bankruptcy a month before the election when he filed, who would you have voted for? |
Are you serious? This kind of financial kerfuffle would prevent you from even the lowest security clearance level. |
No, I’m pissed that he has been having this problem for a long time. And he hid it from the ACDC and they didn’t advise him not to run and find another candidate a year ago. OR, that they knew, and kept it quiet until after the election. Either way, I feel lied to and I voted for him. He shouldn’t have run. |
