I love this too! So good.

Dark roast means your burning the crap out of the beans so they all taste the same- a more consistent but less complex flavor.

Dark roast = burnt

“Good dark roast” is an oxymoron

You can usually get it on sale at Whole Foods.

Intelligentsia coffee. I'm super picky. This is also my brother-in-law's favorite. Don't get me wrong, I also like Peet's Major Dickason and Starbucks Sumatra, but this is a step above that.

Are you in DC? Check out the Ethiopian beans from Harrar coffee on Georgia Ave. Harrar, Sidamo, others. They roast on site and are delicious.

+1. If you are a Prime member, they sometimes have sales for $8 (reg price $12). However, I should point out that it’s darkER (which I interpret as in between medium and dark). True dark roast is too bitter for me.

Costco brand called Columbian Supremo. It’s the best coffee you can get at that price range. $15 for a 2lb bag.
