I also just found this out and was very intrigued! It makes me think better of Jon Lovett b/c while he is smart and funny, wow he is so far below Ronan's league looks-wise. Not to be bitchy but really. So I calculate this must mean his personality is fantastic.

Ronan was a legit child prodigy. My guess is that Jon Lovett is very witty. I don't think Lovett is that terrible looking...he's in shape and not ugly.

Are people confusing Jon Lovett (from Pod Saves America, in his late 30s) with Jon Lovitz (the pauchy comedian from SNL in the late 80s, in his early 60s)?

He is such a fake. I worked with him during his short stint at State. He specialized in name-dropping, pretending to be important, and taking credit for other people's work. And he left in a cloud of suspicious about how he'd used the departments resources and acted above the rules.

I appreciate what he has done more recently in terms of pointing a spotlight on some awful abuses and crimes, but I'm not a fan of him as a person.

So funny that you posted. I saw him on the news tonight and thought he looked just like Mia Farrow so looked him up and sure enough... my guess is Frank or someone else as the dad. He clearly is super smart and his father's pedophile behaivor with his sister has had a big impact on his career path.

I think many people who knew him in DC, socially and professionally, would agree with this.
