If I had two full baths I would make one (most likely in or near the master bedroom) a walk-in shower without a tub. Probably with a glass door, although I had a tub with sliding glass door once and hated it. Hard to clean all the apparatus involved and harder to clean the tub. But not too bad with a walk in shower.
A large (tub sized) walk in shower would be so much better than tub/shower, you could have a bench seat, and it works way better if someone in your family has an injury such as a broken leg. Being able to easily walk in the shower and sit down while showering is valuable. It's also easier to wash a dog in that kind of shower than in a tub. |
