No, either take the baby with you for all activities, or one parent or grandparent stays back with the baby. FWIW, we have 4 kids, and we've never had issues doing activities while on a trip/vacation. Our baby just naps in a carrier, or carseat wherever we are. While on the beach, we had a tent and our baby had no problem napping inside while one of us was right there. |
OMG to all of this. ![]() |
+1 You're going to have a long road in front of you if you dont start divide & conquer. Surely, all of you can get family time in at the beach, stay a few hours, head back w/ baby when it is time for eating/nap, switch off once baby is asleep. Rinse repeat. |
We have and it was great |
Man, Chris Rock was right! White people will leave their children with anyone! |
Meh. I was a previous poster who used to sit. Met plenty of non-white families who I hadn't had a prior meet and greet with before the sitting date. I'm not even close to white so no skin in the game. |
Well good for you. OP specifically noted that their baby is not good on the go and won't sleep at the beach. So, not an option, but you wouldn't need to worry about that since you have superior parenting skills... |
You're right I wouldn't worry about it. There are 4 adults and only 3 children, and still OP can't figure it out. Perhaps she needs work on her parenting skills. |
