College Soccer- Does it matter in the long run?

I’m the PP - Just wanted to clarify, I didn’t play in college because of anything other than love of the game. Had no idea it would be so interesting to employers years down the road, develop character or anything like that. There was just no doubt in my mind that I would keep playing in college. Soccer was also a huge part of my identity and had a really hard time letting that go.
